Close to the Veg is a small market garden, producing fresh fruit and vegetables for local people.

The business is based on the Northmoor Trust Estate, near Wittenham Clumps in south Oxfordshire.

The produce is all grown using environmentally friendly methods and no chemicals. I aim to create a thriving ecosystem where frogs, ladybirds and beetles take care of the pests, and the vegetables take care of themselves. The produce is sold mainly through veg box deliveries – if you live or work in South or East Oxford or near to the site in Wallingford, the villages of Little or Long Wittenham,Brightwell cum Sotwell, Clifton Hampden or Garsington, you can get one!

The veg is picked mainly on Thursdays and Friday mornings and the bags go out every Friday afternoon, so everything is as fresh as possible when it arrives at your door.
