Close to the Veg is a small market garden, producing fresh fruit and vegetables for local people.

The business is based on the Earth Trust Estate, near Wittenham Clumps in south Oxfordshire.

The produce is all grown using environmentally friendly methods and no chemicals. I aim to create a thriving ecosystem where frogs, ladybirds and beetles take care of the pests, and the vegetables take care of themselves. The produce is sold mainly through veg box deliveries – if you live or work in Oxford, Didcot, Abingdon or Kennington or near to the site in Wallingford, the villages of Little or Long Wittenham, Brightwell cum Sotwell, or Clifton Hampden, you can get one!

The veg is picked as late as possible, so everything is as fresh as possible when it arrives at your door.
